How a post can get ugly
...I hate it when I think to much about certain things. Because I can't really post it without being branded "cynical" or some other bullshit, such as my own self wanting to DELETE it.
If I didn't stop myself on the last post, which was about the human disposition towards hypocrisy and changing our minds, I would have posted it. So, instead, a synopsis:
It was spawned by the before posted quote about how changing your mind can be a better thing than being unwavering and wrong and then this blog entry I found chronicling how Bush is the same as his opponent: A flip-flopper, and how hypocritical that was and how it was predictable too because of their being 1. Politicians, and 2. Human Beings.
The latter led me into some long rant that I ended up deleting. Mainly because it was a long ass way of stating the obvious that could be summed up: We inevitably change our minds at times and therefore contradict ourselves, some of us do it more than others.
But, it then leaked over into a bit of a rambling about our predisposition towards lying too, such as lying about changing our minds to appease certain people, for example in normal life we may do that with friends or family, even if they are small lies they are nonetheless not true.
But wait, that was on the verge of spilling over into how much those lies can hurt and how being used can. Glad I didn't get further and post for your reading entertainment? Too bad.
So I shall stop there, and wonder why I didn't post the real entry (which by the way was fucking huge and no where near pleasant), and instead posted this summary.
And don't get me started about the other possibilities of what really was behind the arrest of those two Muslim leaders in a New York Mosque (always tempted to spell it Mosk), which would splinter to the before mentioned shit about lies, being used, and then this other factor that corresponds to the other factors: Manipulation.
